🔺Future proofing village halls for generations

Lisa was invited to the reopening of Hermitage Hall on Tuesday to celebrate the recent energy efficiency upgrades being completed, not to mention the shiney new roofing and wall sheets (check out the before and after 🤩)

We insulated all the walls and the roof - shout out to M&JS Joinery Ltd (‘oor’ very own Hawick Cornet 💙💛) who worked through snow, -11 temperatures and then a storm to get the project completed within the deadline!
Then of course the fabulous DL Electrical & Renewables installed the solar and battery.

Since last year we have helped lots of village halls across the Scottish Borders reduce their running costs & increase comfort levels. These buildings are the heart of many communities so it’s pretty special to play a part in making sure they are around for future generations.

Last mention goes to Jude (pictured handing over Net Zero plaque) & the team at Borders Community Action (BCA) for supporting all the village halls with funding and guiding them on their energy efficiency journey.

We’re feeling really good about our work ☺️

Age UK is a charity our Lisa is very fond of. Lisa volunteered for years as a Telephone Friend - if you’ve spoken to her on the phone you’ll understand why she was perfect for this!
So, to hear that Age UK had recommended us as a trusted company to look after a lovely gentleman who needed his loft insulated, made us feel brilliant!
We’ve now completed the works, and the client along with his friendly dog, Flynn, can enjoy a more comfortable home this winter 🏠 ☺️🐶
