Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all managed to get through another wet and stormy week!!

This week I finished a fence for an absolute sweetheart of a lady in Penzance. The customers had removed the old, damaged and broken fence and asked me to replace it with a horizontal board fence.

Was certainly a challenge getting it finished in this terrible weather but I was able to thanks to all the teas and sandwiches provided to keep me going!

Happy Tuesday and a belated Happy New Year. I hope you’re all well and the survived the storms ok.

The last couple of days have seen me replacing this storm damaged fence for some wonderful returning customers in Pool. A tired panel fence was changed for a new and sturdier Feather edge version.

Happy Friday. I hope you’re all well and have been able to avoid the rain a bit this week.

I thought I’d share some pictures of a job I recently completed for a lovely couple in Hayle. These guys are actually returning customers so it was wonderful to work for them again.

The job was to remove some gorse bushes along with the old post and wire fence, replacing it with a boundary fence and gate that still lets the light and wildlife through.

Evening. Apologies for the radio silence. It’s been a very busy summer. I hope you’ve all been enjoying the lovely weather. I thought I’d share some pictures of a job I recently completed in Goohavern for a lovely couple.

The biggest garden transformation I’ve taken on. Two porcelain patios with two paths linking them. A base for an outbuilding reusing the slabs from the previous paving and some tiered sleeper beds around the patios.

Happy Wednesday. I hope you’ve all had a great day and have enjoyed the sunshine. It’s been a busy few weeks with a couple of Hit and Miss fences being made. One on top of a Cornish hedge and cladding the back of a neighbouring fence, another replacing a block wall damaged in the storms.

I’ve also done some turfing work and a garden clearance job but unfortunately didn’t think to take any before and after photos. 🤦‍♂️

The clearance job was just by my house so one of my cats, Jaffa, decided to keep me company and act as the foreman!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine today. I thought I’d take a moment to share a job I completed for a lovely family in Troon.

This job was about upgrading the paths in their front garden from old concrete to Fossil Mint Sandstone edged with blue engineering bricks. Made quite a difference!

Happy New Year everyone, I hope January has been treating you well and any resolutions are still going strong. I thought I’d share some pictures with you of a job I finished just before Christmas for a lovely couple in Goonhavern.

The job was to create a functional gravel area, increase the size of an existing patio, create a stepping stone path to a pergola, gate and fence before finally laying slabs for a shed base. It’s made quite a difference to the garden as you can see.

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. This week has been all about Garden Clearance for a lovely family in Knave Go By. About half a tonne (6 van loads) of green waste came out of this one. It’s made quite a difference, especially to the back where you couldn’t even walk through beforehand.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at SSR Landscaping battling the elements and getting the work done.

Last week was fencing for a lovely family in Camborne. Removing an old and broken panel fence and in its place installing a 6’6” feather edge replacement.

The week before was turfing, removing some old grass and replacing it with a couple of sandstone edged borders and new lawn. This was also in Camborne, for a lovely couple who spoilt me rotten with pasties, sausage rolls and bacon butties.

Happy Saturday! I hope you’re all having great weekend. Here’s a few pictures of a job I completed earlier this year for a lovely couple in Hayle.

I laid some paving slabs as stepping stones, surrounded by Cotswold chippings and held in place with corten steel edgers to create a path through their garden.

Their cat was very keen to supervise all the works too. He thought it was Purrfect.

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you’re all having a good weekend and have avoided the storm.

This week I have been laying a porcelain patio for a lovely couple in Pool. I was completely spoilt on this job! Not only did I get help doing the job from the homeowner but I also got bacon butties, flapjacks and sausage rolls! An absolute pleasure working for these guys.
