Last Friday 30th August I did a talk to SPAB on how ecotecture worked to conserve and renovate Lewes Quaker house. we were joined by historical conservation interested people and discussed the process the building went through and the ideas behind the plan over some sweet treats and tea & coffee : )

I am proud to say that ecotecture has recently gained planning for conversion of St Johns Seminary, a grade II listed building from 1896 with great historical significance. A small film has been made documenting how myself the lead architect and others have worked together and what we aimed to achieve through this renovation in order to preserve this buildings heritage for many more years to come!

Announcing our recent Sussex Heritage Award in the Public and Community category. Lewes Friends Meeting House was highly recommended for recent work providing a new accessible foyer, restoration of Georgian mathematical tiled walls, retrofit to upgrade EPC from an E to a C using natural materials. The improvements have guaranteed the future building for many more centuries to come.
