A useful addition to the NeonFox toolkit.

I've now passed my IPAF 3a & 3b operator training, covering mobile vertical lifts and mobile boom lifts.

It gives us another safe, practical option for working at height on decorating, maintenance and installation jobs where a ladder simply isn't the right tool for the job.

A lot of the work we do isn’t a full renovation — it’s sorting out the jobs that have been sitting on the list for far too long.

Painting, repairs, fitting and those awkward little jobs that need the right tools and a bit of know-how.

That’s really what NeonFox is about: practical improvements to homes and workplaces, properly finished.

The internet has spoken…

We asked you to help us choose the wording for our new NeonFox workwear — and there was a clear winner:

Paint • Repair • Install

Simple, straightforward, and a pretty good description of what we get up to.

Thanks to everyone who voted (and offered a bit of constructive criticism along the way!).

Now we just need to get the shirts printed…

Quite a transformation on this one.

The existing decking had reached the end of its life, with significant rot in several areas making it unsafe and beyond economical repair.

We removed the old structure and installed a brand-new timber deck, creating a safer, cleaner and much more usable outdoor space for the customer to enjoy.

Simple, practical improvements can completely change how a garden feels and functions.

We’re giving the NeonFox workwear a bit of a refresh… and we need your help.

We do quite a mixture of work in homes and offices, so finding three words that actually explain what we do isn’t as easy as it sounds!

We’ve narrowed it down to three:

A — PAINT • REPAIR • IMPROVE
B — FIX • FIT • FINISH
C — PAINT • REPAIR • INSTALL

Which one gets your vote — A, B or C?

I bet you’ve all wondered what a painter & handyman does in his spare time…

Fix things around the house?
Catch up on those little DIY jobs?
Maybe even decorate his own place?

Nope.

Not everything needs replacing.

These exterior timbers had suffered quite a bit of weather damage and deterioration, but with some careful repairs, preparation and a fresh protective finish, we’ve managed to tidy them up and extend their serviceable life for a while longer.

A big improvement — and hopefully a few more years before replacement becomes necessary.
