Lockdown Mk2...and, wow, we are in November. Just where the year has gone no one knows!
I've kept busy. did you know that a new ruling came into effect July this year that states all let properties need electrical testing, so, all the landlords and agencies require this doing to their properties if not already done. So, this has increased the workload somewhat.

Also quite a few other installs and remedial works keep the wolf from the door. Keep safe everyone, and wash your hands!

So, with this current crisis, I am only responding to Essential emergency works. If you have issues, take a photo of your fuse/consumer panel and email to me ([email protected]) and I will take a look and get back to you. Some minor issues can be sorted on the phone as a temporary measure.

The new year has started at quite a pace, there still seems to be ample work both in the domestic and industrial field. I've carried out quite a bit of electrical testing to premises new to me recently, and am finding the usual issues arising from these tests. Just like installations, the testing needs to be carried out according to the regulations, and those have changed again this year. So, loads more to learn, and of course we need also to remember the out-going regulations purely for reference.

We seems to be quite busy at the moment, work happening in Purley, 3 in Redhill, 2 in Chelwood Gate, South Chailey and Scaynes Hill...and others, but these are just the larger contracts. As always, we pick up work from failed contracts when either the electricians leave the site or get pushed off. It happens very often. Also loads of existing clients who require works.
