✨So this week hasnt exactly gone as planned…. It has certainly gave me a week of reflection thats for sure….

Thoughts of how are we going to manage at work…

We have customers relying on us

What about the work we have booked in ahead

The patience from our current customers has been so good and we honestly cant thank yous enough… we are trying our very best to manage this situation, Lee is flat out and doing his very best to keep things moving forward… we have lads coming in to help us as and when we need them, we are doing as much as possible to get back on top and once again, we really do appreciate your patience.

Hoping to have more of an update next week with regards to recovery / future works rescheduling…

Massive thanks to the lads keeping our projects moving…. We wont forget this at the xmas party 😂…..

We do have a lot of new enquiries which we need to arrange to visit… things are running slower than usual so again, your patience is greatly appreciated…..

✨Boldon renovation ✅

From a poorly laid out , dark and gloomy kitchen, to a stunning new bright and spacious kitchen and living area for the full family to enjoy.

This project had it all…. We have literally flipped the kitchen from one side of the house to the other, moving an internal wall back into the sitting room to gain as much space in the kitchen as possible.

✅Walls removed
✅Steels fitted
✅Aluminium bi folds and french doors
✅New kitchen fitted and relocated
✅Downstairs w/c relocated
✅Utility room formed
✅All electrical and plumbing work
✅And so much more…..

We think this looks fantastic ❤️

✨ 2 men down for the majority of the week…. Holidays and a sickness bug…. But still a productive week across all of our projects and still managing to fit a few site visits in for potential new customers.

*Our South shields extension is making good progress, albeit with a battle against the weather…. We are ready for the roofers who are scheduled early next week.

*Our mammoth Jarrow renovation project has the kitchen being installed….. we cant wait to see this one finished…. Stunning!!!

*Our east boldon project has windows and doors fitted, 1st fix electrics are in and we are now starting to close up the internals with insulating the ceilings and boarding on next weeks agenda as we prepare for the plasterers the following week. All in good time for the Diamond lads to come and fit yet another kitchen for us.

With numerous other projects due to start very soon, we are always on the lookout for more reliable tradesmen……

✅Must be reliable
✅Work to a high standard on your own accord
✅Be able to communicate with us and customers…. We dont have the time
Or patience to remind you of basic manners.

As always…. Its a massive team effort to keep turning out the standards of work we do…. We take nobody for granted.

Limited space available for the remainder of this year and now looking to book in projects for 2027….. thanks for the continued support.

‼️Please note - For all new enquiries, we are now fully booked until mid October…

If you are looking to have work carried out by ourselves this year, we cannot keep dates without a small deposit.. this is for our security and yours.

Whilst we predicted this year would be busy, this has surpassed our expectations… the trust and support shown in our small business does not go unnoticed and we thank you all for supporting us.

We do have a number of quotes sent out at the moment so please don’t delay in either confirming or declining, we are hoping to get our diary full and closed for this year, with bookings already coming in for 2027.

✨South shields single storey rear extension.

Yet another new project underway, adding an extra living space to this property, opening up the new kitchen area and adding a downstairs toilet to the inside of the existing property.

We are currently experiencing our busiest period to date…. Reply times may be slower than normal but rest assured we are trying our very best to catch up with all enquiries…

✨Renovation projects….. These are possibly our favourite things to take on… the transformations are breathtaking…. From an old, cold and run down property….to a warmer, more modern and spacious home.

These projects, particularly on older properties, always throw us a curve ball, making timescales and original budgets so difficult to maintain…

Whether it be rotten floor joists, re routing of old, hidden pipework, uncovering old, diy bodge jobs making the property unsafe… there is so much going on that you cant physically see upon an initial site visit and sometimes, not always… it can catch us out.

Always nice delivering the news to customers 🫣

Whatever budget and timescale you have for your renovation project - it’s a sensible idea to have a reserve set aside and some room for manoeuvring regarding time frames.

✨A very productive week for us as we head into a well needed bank holiday weekend and a few days off…

On our East Boldon project we have;

✅Roof completion

✅Scaffolding down - Great milestone on any project

✅Internal works started

✅Steels sat in place ready for pad stones

✅Kitchen and utility rip out

📍Our Jarrow renovation project is ticking along nicely while we now wait for the kitchen to be fitted….

📍Our new extension starting today in South shields

🤝Various site visits completed this week as we work through a mammoth amount of quotations….

‼️Quotes will be getting sent out this weekend, we may have 3 days off the tools but the work does not stop behind the scenes..

As always, we appreciate your patience and support….. theres a reason we are so busy ❤️
