In honour of and , we are looking back at our 2023 collaboration with St. Augustine's Centre Halifax. This land art installation was designed to represent compassion, connection, and solidarity.

This year’s Refugee Week theme is Courage, a quality we saw in abundance during this project. The true magic was watching the artwork grow through collective energy. Throughout the day, hundreds of local school children and volunteers came together to paint the surrounding migratory birds. By physically expanding the image, everyone who took part became a vital piece of the artwork itself, creating a vibrant, shared experience where the whole community felt connected.

It highlights what we love most about large-scale land art: using eco-friendly paint on a natural canvas to translate profound human stories into collective visual moments that bring people together.

A huge thank you to everyone who brought their energy, time, and heart to this canvas, this truly was a project that was incredibly memorable for us.

As artists who use the coast as our canvas, we are incredibly passionate about protecting the marine ecosystems that line our shores.

For today, we're looking back at a striking 50-metre sand drawing we created at Cayton Bay in collaboration with Oceana. The piece featured a portrait of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak with a fish in his mouth alongside the message , shining a spotlight on industrial bottom-trawling taking place within supposedly "protected" British marine areas.

We love collaborating with organisations that work tirelessly to protect our waters. Sand art is completely temporary, but we hope the conversations it sparks about protecting ocean habitats leave a lasting impression.

Happy World Environment Day! As artists, nature is our biggest inspiration, and there's no better day to look back at one of our favorite environmental projects: this massive 60m land art portrait of Greta Thunberg.

We created this field painting alongside the brilliant pupils of Hebden Royd C of E Primary School, who had chosen Greta as their inspiration on International Woman's day in 2022. Using water-soluble, biodegradable line marker paint, our team mapped out the portrait before every single child at the school grabbed a paint lance to frame Greta with drawings of their favorite animals, names, and environmental messages.

Years later, Greta is still such a powerful inspiration to the next generation, showing how a single voice of any age can ignite a global movement.

To celebrate, we are looking back at this massive piece of land art we created for the Noth York Moors National Park during the Tour of Britain in 2022.

The design brings together some of the park's most iconic wildlife sharing a ride, featuring a lady cyclist alongside a roe deer and a hare, with a curlew flying above carrying a flag.

As artists who love working with nature, World Bicycle Day is a brilliant reminder of why we advocate for more two-wheeled travel. Choosing a bike over a car is one of the simplest, most effective ways to lower our carbon footprint, reduce air pollution, and protect the very environments and wildlife we love to depict in our work.

Whether you're commuting to work or exploring a beautiful national park, swapping four wheels for two helps keep our landscapes green and our air clean.

An absolute delight to work with today in Leeds del Sol. We heard heart warming stories of how heart health has affected people’s lives which they could write about on the board we had made. 97 people had their blood pressures taken of which 40% were made aware that they should see their doctor. I was told that good food, moderate exercise and low salt were the cornerstones to a healthy heart.

We’re still celebrating Local and Community History Month! We love collaborating with community and heritage partners to celebrate their unique history right on their own streets in a fun and unexpected way.
Pumpkin carving is just one of the creative mediums we’ve used to bring the past to life. Here are a few of thos pumpkin past events:

Royals with English Heritage - We teamed up to celebrate some of history's most notable monarchs, having a brilliant time carving out highly detailed portraits including some famously beheaded Tudor royals!

The Bradford Heritage Trail - We celebrated the layers of Bradford's history through a city-wide, family-fun trail with Bradford BID. Nearly 50 pumpkins brought local legends to life, from the Brontë sisters writing in their parlour to a scene celebrating that Bradford was the place free school meals were founded.

Vikings with Make It York - Jamie carved a larger than life Viking warrior bust live on Parliament Street, sculpting a fierce marauder in historically correct battle regalia.

Whether it's warriors, monarchs, or local icons, we love turning a seasonal gourd into a piece of community heritage. Could this be a fun idea for your autumn event?

Originally carved to commemorate the emotional toll of history, this piece titled “Those that were left behind” captures a mother lost in deep thought and concern.

This month is Maternal Mental Health Month, it's focus is about bringing the invisible struggles of motherhood out into the open, acknowledging that mental health challenges can happen at any stage of the journey.

When we were sculpting this, we wanted to capture that internal world . From the anxieties of pregnancy and the vulnerability of postpartum days, to the ongoing, unseen pressures of raising growing children motherhood is a massive transition. Behind a quiet expression on a beach can lie a lot of heavy, unspoken thoughts that mothers carry at every step of the way.

As artists, we’ve always believed that sculpture can give a visual voice to things that are otherwise hard to put into words. It is okay to struggle with the weight of this transition, but please know that you don't have to suffer in silence. In 2022, we teamed up with a local primary school to create this striking giant bee and shout out about how they need out help!

The latest data shows that bee populations are still struggling, 2024 saw some of the lowest counts in history due to extreme weather. But there is hope! Rare species are bouncing back where habitats are being restored.

Art starts the conversation; action saves the species. This , let’s re-wild our spaces and protect our pollinators.

It’s week! To celebrate, we’re looking back at 2019 when we headed to the Great Pavilion and created a dragon carved entirely from vegetables.

We created this for the legendary Medwyn Williams to celebrate his "Red Dragon" tomatoes, helping him secure his 12th RHS Gold Medal!

Fast forward to 2026, and "Edimentals" (edible ornamentals) are the biggest trend at the show. It turns out we were ahead of the curve why just eat your greens when you can turn them into a fire-breathing dragon?

If we were there this year, we’d probably be carving a life-sized alien out of a marrow to fit the "Out of this World" theme. Maybe we will be back for 2027.
