Changed a upvc mech that wouldnt lock. They are going on holiday tomorrow. Horrible timing but put new one in and all working. Customer very happy. So as she just made some scones asked if i wanted one. All who know me know the answer. So she wrapped up for my lunch. Sometimes i love my job 😀

Without the correct tools. Opening these doors where the internal mechanism has broke would be more of a nightmare

Had to adjust upvc door. You have to take off a cover to get to adjustment. Its held on by 2 screws. Notice you cant get to either screws on top hinge. Middle hinge shows what it should look like. Joys of locksmithing.

Door not been opened in over 25 years. Opened in less than 5 mins. Replaced deadlock and nightlatch.

Had to open a summerhouse thats not been opened in years. Had to use the old fixings as didnt know iit was french door style. So bit of faffing but it now locks . So customer is happy that it locks.
