Rob Blythman Tree Surgery & Garden Maintenance

19/09/2026

🚜 Stuck for something to do today (Saturday 19th)? 🚜

Come on down to Helston & St Keverne YFC's Ploughing Match, it's completely free to attend!

There's the ploughing match, static displays, the tractor pull (which I'm quite excited about), a raffle/ auction and a BBQ.

I will be here today premiering my new machine, a MultiOne 5.3iD compact loader. Challenge your mate to a game of 'Hammerschlagen' (commonly known as 'Nails'). I've also got bags of sweets for the tiddlers 😁

I'll see you in the field!

"What's it like working in this heat, Rob..?"

It's hideous! 🥵

FYI This t-shirt was clean on, this morning! 🤢

Please join me in wishing Jago Penaluna all the best, as he starts is journey in Arboriculture.

Jago heads up to Bicton College on Monday, where he will spend a week a month gaining the necessary qualifications to become an Arborist.

I met jago when he joined Odds 'n' Sods for a 'sing-song' one evening. Since then, he's done a few days of labouring and found a passion for the industry. I have tried to break him/ convince him it's not a glamorous industry, but I've failed 😁

ALL THE BEST JAGO!!! 💪🏽🌲🧗🏼‍♂️

When a compromised Oak Tree turns into a fantastic bit of promo! 📽️ 😍

We were called to deal with a storm damaged Oak Tree in Budock Water, which was overhanging some HV power lines. Turns out the client is a professional photographer.

Thank you Christiaan of No Limits Photography for this awesome video! 👊🏽

I've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Christmas Tree Collection, due to having too much storm damage to clear still.

Most people were completely understanding... 😳

*** My truck is in a garage being sorted ***

❤️‍🩹 Thank you for your support and messages of encouragement. I am mentally and physically broken, it's so nice to know there are people still willing to help others. Proper job Helston! 👊🏽

Can you help me?

As you can imagine, I am absolutely flat out. My 2012 2.5 125hp Ford Transit has been in limp mode all day.

It can be spared tomorrow (Monday 12th).

Thank you for your time.

N.b. I am not expecting this to be done for free, I just need it sorted so we can keep up the fight! 💪🏽
