Full over-skim on a living room artex ceiling, above all 4 dado rail walls & above the bay window header✅

This almost had me throwing my trowels at the floor skimming above the dado rails & tight spaces 😆 but we powered through and got it looking lovely!🙌

Some awkward areas, small cupboard spaces & massive wooden beams to work over & around 😆 but powered through and got this complete in just a couple of weeks.

A returning customer of mine asked if I could skim this upstairs landing ceiling. We were here back in late February to skim the majority of the property. But sadly didn’t have enough time to get this done during the time frame.

Back a couple months later to finish it off. Night & day difference and in this heat, I’m sure this can get painted in just a couple of days!🥵

Out with the old, in with the new 💪

A freshly over-rendered patio wall completed in Helston today 🏠 a struggle with the heat today but we powered through & got this wall looking brand new.

Due to salts & poor render mix, this wall had been showing a lot of cracks & rust from internal wires. It’s been prepped with rendered grip, a stabilising solution & a thin coat of sand, cement & lime render ✅.

Now looking smooth, flat & smart with no cracks to come ever again!

Always a joy to carry out further work for returning customers ✅ This time they had reached out to ask if I could rectify & make good of these corner walls in a bedroom which were blown & showing mold. Originally caused by a cracked & leaking chimney which has since been resolved.

The walls had been hacked off to blockwork, OB1 Tanking Solution Applied (the best in the business), backing plaster to level the wall back & finally skimmed entirely🙌

Day & night difference, what was just bare blockwork is now smooth & flat cement render to create the edging for the driveway & return walls✅

Living by the sea often means properties become damaged with the salt airs, which can seep through exterior blocks and into the interior of the property. No matter how many times you may use salt repellents or different primers, fillers & paints. Salts and flakeness will still come through 😬

These walls were completely hacked off back to block, OB1 Tanking Solution applied, a damp proof & waterproof cement render laid to flatten & a fresh coat of plaster flattened off and blended into the existing walls.
