Back in Mawgan to start this week on behalf of MJL 🏗️

Finishing off the final timber frame panels before moving onto the steel beam, roof trusses, ladders and remaining timber.

We ended the week down in Mawgan for MJL! 💪🏗️

Today was spent getting the timber frame wall panels lifted into position and everything lined up ready for the next stage of the build. It’s always a great feeling seeing the structure really start to take shape once the panels are up!

Now we’re all set and ready for the roof trusses to go in on Monday, which will be another big milestone for the project. 🔨🏠

A lot of hard work goes into getting each stage right, and it’s great to see everything coming together and moving forward nicely.

Time to shut the crane down for the weekend, enjoy a well-earned weekend and recharge ready for another busy week! 😎💪

🌳 A day late posting yesterday’s job… thanks to a rather late finish! 😅

Yesterday we were called out for an emergency tree job after a tree had partially fallen, creating a potential risk of damage to the electrical box serving the apartments.

Working alongside JP Jones and A&R Treeworks, we got straight to work and safely brought the tree down, removing the immediate risk and getting everything left safe and secure. 💪🌳

Another job done safely and soundly! 🏗️✅

🚨 DAY 1 WITH THE NEW CRANE! 🚨🏗️

What a way to kick things off — straight into a busy first day with the new addition to the fleet! 💪

First job of the day took us down to the stunning Mawgan Porth for Eden Hot tubs, where we were lifting a swim spa into position, along with a hot tub. 🏗️🔥

Then it was straight on to the second job in Newquay, where we lifted 3 skylights into place, followed by a few lifts of granite and plenty of bags of sand for VEOR Build 🏗️🏗️

A proper first day for the new crane, putting it straight to work and showing just how versatile it is! From hot tubs and swim spas to skylights, granite and building materials — we can handle all kinds of lifting jobs, big or small.

Been a little quiet on the social media front this week… but now you know why! 👀🏗️

🚨 WELCOME TO THE FLEET! 🚨

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome the newest addition to Cornwall Crane Hire — our brand-new-to-us Böcker AK44 with a total lifting capacity off 4
Tonne 🏗️👏

After a fresh respray, she’s looking absolutely 🔥 and is now ready to get straight to work. We’re just waiting for the finishing touch of having her fully sign-written, but that won’t be stopping her from getting stuck straight into the action!

Tomorrow she heads out on her first jobs with Cornwall Crane Hire, and we can’t wait to see her earning her keep. 💪

A big investment for the business and another fantastic addition to the fleet, giving us even more capability when it comes to getting those awkward, challenging and heavy lifts done safely and efficiently.

Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks — you’ll be seeing a lot more of this beauty! 👀🏗️

Today saw us back down at the lovely village of Ashton, working on the second new-build property for Freestyle Developers 🏗️

Another busy day on site, this time lifting and positioning roof trusses safely and efficiently, helping keep the build moving forward 💪🏼🏠

Another busy day on the job, completing two lifts across Cornwall 🏗️💪

📍 Job 1 – Portwrinkle
We headed over to the beautiful coastal village of Portwrinkle to lift a brand-new hot tub into position on behalf of Cornish Hot Tubs. 🛁🏗️

📍 Job 2 – Mylor
Then it was down to lovely Mylor to unload trusses and timber ready for next week’s job, working alongside . 🪵🏗️

Two jobs, two locations, one busy day! 💪
