🔌⚡️ Some useful upgrades for this customer.

This one involved installing a 7kW EV charger at the bottom of the garden, giving the customer a convenient dedicated charging point right where they need it.

I also fitted a new outdoor socket at the patio, perfect for garden maintenance, or powering up whatever electrical kit you have in the garden.

A couple of practical upgrades that make everyday life a little easier — and, importantly, all installed properly and built to last.

🏖️ Holiday ready means more than making the beds and checking the hot tub.

I’ve recently completed an EICR on holiday caravans in Cornwall to make sure the electrical installations are safe and in good working order for the people staying there.

Holiday caravans can see much higher use than a typical home, with different guests coming and going throughout the year. And unlike at home, holidaymakers aren’t going to notice gradual deterioration or carry out regular checks themselves.

🌊 A little lighting upgrade with a view!

This coastal home in Coverack got a lighting refresh, including corrosion-proof outdoor fittings built to handle the Cornish elements, plus some ambient mirror lighting to bring a bit of glow indoors.

And because every good job deserves a proper Cornish lunch… 🍦

A kitchen refurbishment with no unnecessary frills — just a practical, functional, easy to maintain space where everything is fitted for purpose tailored for the client.

I’ve rewired the kitchen, relocated the cooker and hob supplies, added dedicated isolation switches for the built-in appliances and installed new extractor ducting through the loft.

I fitted the ducting in the loft without passing out from the heat!⚡

For those wondering, yes the extractor will have a tidy stainless duct cover. And the walls are indeed white under the protection!

First fix complete on this kitchen renovation.

The last couple of days have been pretty hot, so chasing walls and running cables definitely wasn’t the coolest way to spend them! 🥵

This stage included a new socket ring, lighting circuit, and cables for isolation switches to feed the built in appliances. It might not look like much now, but getting everything planned and installed properly at first fix makes a huge difference once the kitchen starts coming together.

Looking forward to getting back for the second fix and seeing the finished result. ⚡️
