Unless you pay me more, I can’t do more.

I don’t mind little things to help, after all you have been keeping me watered all day! But anything beyond a small favour will be charged 😊

Happy Friday

Small projects. Big difference.

Hi 👋 I’m Tom, the person behind Phoenix Outdoor Spaces. I’ve been working in landscaping since I was 16 with the last seven years spent working in the industry full-time. Six months ago, I decided to take the leap and build something of my own.

Phoenix isn’t just a name I chose because it sounded good — Phoenix was my brother’s middle name. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago, and naming the business Phoenix is my way of carrying a small part of him with me as I build something I’m proud of.

I’m an independent landscaper, and that’s something I want Phoenix to embrace. I’m not trying to become a huge landscaping company or chase the biggest commercial projects possible. I’ve realised that I really enjoy the smaller jobs — gates, fencing, patios, repairs and garden improvements — the projects that might seem small but can make a huge difference to someone’s home.
That’s where Small projects. Big difference. comes from. I believe a project doesn’t have to be huge to be done properly, and sometimes one small change can completely transform an outdoor space.

Phoenix is still in its early days, but I’m excited about where it’s going. Being a small, independent business means you deal directly with me from the first conversation through to the finished job, and I take pride in giving every project the same attention to detail, regardless of its size.

If you’ve supported me, recommended me, trusted me with your garden, or simply followed along so far — thank you. This is only the beginning.

Best way to point up small grout lines is with your finger. Gloves are advised but it’s too hot for any extra layers at the moment.

Brush in at a 45 degree to help completely fill the gaps. Keep compacting the lines, smooth off with your pointing trowel or finger and then compact again. Easy peasy 😊

This lack of rain is hurting me financially, only is this country can you lose out of work because off too much rain or not enough within 30 days of each other.

Cheers England

On the plus side, my tan is fantastic 😎

Primer adhesive is used on the back of porcelain and natural stone slabs to help them adhere to the concrete they are being laid on 👍
