I’m usually all for getting out and exploring, but when the rain comes down like it has this morning, it’s the perfect excuse for a slow morning. 🌧️

Grab your hot drink of choice (hot chocolate is always my choice!), something yummy for breakfast and a good book… then get straight back into bed. ☕️📖

And if you’ve got little ones with you, embrace the slower pace — get the colouring books out, play a game of UNO, or simply snuggle up together and watch the rain outside. 🎨🃏

The tents are cosy, warm and — most importantly — completely dry, so there’s no need to let the weather stop you enjoying your stay.

We know sitting around the fire is a favourite part of a glamping stay, but while they’re taking a little break due to the current fire risk, there’s still so much to enjoy at Grove Farm.

We know the fire pits are a big part of the glamping experience, and we were really disappointed to have to remove them. Unfortunately, with the current dry conditions, high fire risk, and windy weather, it’s just not safe for us to have them in use.

The photo shows smoke from the large wildfire on the Blorenge. Although we’re fortunate that the smoke hasn’t reached Grove Farm, it’s a stark reminder of how quickly fires can spread and how challenging they can be for firefighters to bring under control.

The safety of our guests, our team, our land, and the beautiful countryside around us will always come first.

Thank you so much to all of our glampers this weekend for being so understanding and supportive. We really appreciate it, and we hope you understand why we’ve had to make this difficult decision.

Waking up on a Monday morning with achey legs but feeling extremely grateful that I got to spend my weekend working outdoors with wonderful women, seeing my family and friends and relaxing by the fire.

5 years ago I would have been working in central London pubs and sooooo stressed and exhausted by the World Cup. I can’t get over the difference and don’t miss it one bit!

An empty glampsite in good weather felt quite disappointing last weekend but rather than dwell, we decided to enjoy it ourselves!

And what a wonderful evening we had! Croissants on the fire were a huge success, definitely recommend either as pudding or breakfast!

What a weekend we have ahead! ☀️

With the Summer Solstice on Saturday, Father’s Day on Sunday, and glorious sunshine forecast throughout, there’s no better time to escape to Grove Farm.

We’ve had a wonderful three weekends in a row with three private swim groups. Plenty of swims, food, laughter and friendships with wonderful women.

And a great reminder that the weather shouldn’t stop you from having a great time - thank you to the Brighton Bobbers, who survived loads of rain and really strong winds on their weekend!

If you have a swim group who would enjoy a weekend like this in 2027 then please do get in touch to organise!

No need for music on this one - bird noise and guests chatting around the fire. What a perfect evening 😍😍

We’ve got a little bit of availability tues-thurs this week if you fancy a last minute break to make the most of the sunshine or start planning for summer school holidays.

The hammocks are the number one attraction for kids and adults too! And not even shown here is its original use of relaxation - book, drink and chill!

We’ve still got limited availability over half term Tuesday - Friday, two or three night stays. You could even pop up to to buy a book to read in the hammock!
