A short film about the recent Richard Layton Charity Raceday at Hereford Racecourse, which raised over £56,000 for four charities:
We Are Farming Minds, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Herefordshire Mind and The Injured Jockeys Fund.

Huge thanks to all those who donated raffle and auction prizes, and those who bought tables, tickets and auction lots.

Group Financial Director Sue Howell’s idea has helped raise over £100,000 for charities!
The second Richard Layton Charity Raceday at Hereford Racecourse was a huge success – 350 guests. Four incredible charities. Over £55,000 raised – bringing the Herefordshire community together to support mental health awareness and vital emergency services.

Following the success of the inaugural event in 2024, this April’s Raceday raised funds for:
• We Are Farming Minds
• Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
• Injured Jockeys Fund
• Herefordshire Mind

Created in memory of Richard Layton, the event continues to spark important conversations around mental health in the farming community while raising vital funds for deserving causes.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes, sponsored tables, bought raffle tickets, and supported the day. The generosity shown across the community was extraordinary.
As organiser Sue Howell said: “We could not have asked for more.” 👏
