ABC Awards Grand Final National Winner 2025!

We are delighted to announce that the project Old Gwernyfed, Powys has been awarded as the National Winner in the Best Residential Conversion or Alteration to an Existing Home category at the LABC Grand Finals 2025!

The judges praised this project for its sensitive approach to restoring a historic building…

“This stunning conversion creates an extraordinary living space, with the entire end of the existing ruin glazed and a bespoke staircase made from glass and oak. Due to the sensitive nature of this Grade I Listed building, implementation of building regulations had to be applied with care and due diligence to avoid compromising the ancient fabric.”
