The Hunting Project

🎄 Fancy something a little different from turkey this year? Or maybe something special to serve alongside it? Well, here it is.

We’re now taking orders for our Christmas venison roasts, with two options available:

🦌 Stuffed Venison Loin Saddle
A really special venison loin saddle with stuffing through the middle, wrapped in smoky streaky bacon.

🦌 B***d & Rolled Venison Haunch
A classic b***d and rolled haunch joint, also wrapped in smoky streaky bacon.

Simply choose your size and order through the website.

🎅 Orders are open until 9th December.

Each joint will be prepared to order, then frozen ready for you to collect or use whenever suits you over the Christmas period.

A proper centrepiece for Christmas dinner, and something a little different from the usual turkey. 🎄

Few new products on the website this week.

1️⃣ New venison labels working great yesterday! They come in packs of 100 perfect if your butchering your own venison 🦌

2️⃣ cotton game meat bags. Great for hanging skinned carcasses or meat in the chiller to allow it to cool but keep the hair and any dirt off them. Used mine for a muntjac this week. Simply wash them and reuse them afterwards.

3️⃣ carcass extraction bag. Field gralloch your deer, throw it in your extraction bag and carrry it or drag it out. Keeps the internals of your carcass nice and clean!

🦌 The Hunting Project is growing!

With the business going really well, I’m now at the point where demand for our venison is more than I can comfortably handle from my current setup. The e-commerce side is starting to take off too, so it’s time to find THP a proper home!

I’m looking for a unit/workshop to rent locally, ideally around 1,000–1,500 sq ft.

📍 Wormbridge / Madley / Ewyas Harold / Pontrilas or surrounding areas
⚡ Electricity required
💧 Water required
🚚 Good access for couriers and delivery drivers

I’m open to farm units, workshops, light industrial units or anything similar that could work.

If anyone knows of anything available, or knows someone who might have something suitable, please drop me a message.

Exciting times for The Hunting Project 🦌
