8 months ago I first fixed a heating circuit for a future radiator. The customer was preparing for a conservatory build and wanted one rad within the space.

I tee’d the two copper pipes into the area where I would eventually drop down the brick wall. I installed two automatic air vents to ensure air build up wasn’t an issue. Since this was a bungalow, this is a very important addition to have on the runs. Finally, it was all lagged to stay protected from the frosty winters.

After some problems with the conservatory, it was finally wrapped up this week and I second fixed the radiator. A 1600 x 400 was a perfect size rad for the space, nicely fitting under the window. Finished off with brass Munson ring clips, the job turned out very well!

Been quiet on here recently, but I’m back doing more work!

A customer from Hereford wanted a new rad fitted as well as a reposition ready for their new kitchen to be installed. I upgraded the coppers to 15mm from microbore as it’s a much better job. The wall was chased out to keep the pipes concealed too. I made sure to tape pipes up to prevent future corrosion, always making sure things are future proofed.

Recently I converted a downstairs cloakroom for a client in Preston on Wye.

The job consisted of chasing the copper pipes into the wall, new flooring, new pvc windowsill, new basin/unit, new toilet, new heated towel rail, custom boxing work as well as splash boarding at half height around the room.

Unfortunately I forgot to take the before photos of this cloakroom. One of the biggest changes was hiding all the external pipes dropping down the wall. It really opened up the room when they have been chased and concealed into the plaster.

The stopcock still needed to be accessed and couldn’t be concealed for obvious reasons. I made a small boxing which can be removed if access is necessary. But whilst it’s in place, it gives a really tidy look blending into the rest of the cloakroom.

Another big problem the client found before, was the basin being more in the centre of the back wall, which meant the door couldn’t fully open. That being changed into a corner basin gave a deeper more practical bowl, but also the door being able to swing open fully.

The single standard radiator was changed into a stylish chrome towel rad which gives off better heat output, with the option to dry towels on it additionally.

I changed what was lino flooring into a more solid vinyl click flooring. This matches the colour theme very well of this cloakroom.

I’ve waited a few weeks to take photos and post as the client did the painting themselves and it’s turned out very well!

Another very happy client, and an enjoyable job from start to finish!

SWIPE TO THE END FOR THE BEFORE PHOTO➡️

A few months ago I freshened up The Comet Inn. I have done a fair amount of work there including new radiators, toilet seats, windowsills, new external pipework. I also changed the old tiles in the gents toilet around the existing urinal to a modern look in splash boarding. The cistern and pipes were all changed additionally.

It’s quite incredible how just a simple change between old tiles and new splash board can change the aesthetics of a bathroom so much.

Recently I converted a full bathroom for a customer. They wanted a fresh look with a modern theme.

The job consisted of a new bath, shower, bath screen, toilet, basin, towel rad, extractor fan, light, electric mirror, flooring, PVC windowsill, with a splash board finish around the room. All works was done by myself with a painter and decorator to finish off the bathroom.

A very satisfied customer, and an enjoyable job to do.
