Landscaping at Haydon Bridge
We removed a small old wall and replaced it with a raised sleeper bed incorporating rising sleeper walls on either end to provide shelter and privacy .
We also lifted the octagonal patio area and relaid it out the back of the house as a sitting area for furniture , a new Indian sandstone patio and oval flower bed bring the whole garden together .
An urn water feature and planting soften the transition between the timber and stone .

With this garden transformation in haltwhistle we terraced a long sloping garden so that it was more useable .
We installed retaining walls from block and faced them with rumbled stone supplied by Northumbria Stone in haltwhistle
We then added two raised deck areas near the house for relaxing on .
While digging out the levels we found an old stone gate stoop which we stood on its end as a feature in the bottom terrace.

This garden in haydon bridge had been decked completely and was rotten, so we replaced it with a patio, gravel, fence and raised beds. We also managed to reuse the original arch. This created a more modern back garden.

FULL GARDEN TRANSFORMATION AT HAYDON BRIDGE

With this garden, we changed a multi level, awkward space into a usable extension of the house.

To achieve this, we:
- Replaced a small multilevel patio with a large single level patio, with shallow wide steps.
- Incorporated a 4 meter square raised bed, level with the patio.
- Installed a timber greenhouse with underfloor heating and low stone wall base. We installed water and electric into the greenhouse.
- Built a tall cement wall with coping stones to match the house and screen the garden from the drive.
- Added a larger platform and steps at the backdoor for safety when exiting.

Overall creating a more practical, aestheticly pleasing use of space.

Using Alston stone we hand sized and dressed it so we could cover the inside wall of a new build house at brampton .
It has a continuous curve from the entrance through the glass door and in to the house giving an almost mirror reflection look ..
