After what is often months of building, the finishing touches start going in and suddenly you can see the vision coming together. 🙌🏼

The little details make such a difference. From the joinery and flooring to the fixtures, fittings and then the final decorating.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get to that point, but seeing everything come together at the end is just as exciting for us as it is for our clients.

We’re incredibly proud to be supporting George’s Forget Me Not Garden, a fantastic community project that means so much to everyone involved. As Project Manager, Kev Wilson Builders is pleased to be giving our time, skills and support to help bring this special garden to life.

Today marked an exciting milestone as we welcomed our first group of volunteers, who gave up their time to get stuck in and help us make some great progress. It was brilliant to see people coming together and showing what can be achieved when a community pulls together for a great cause.

And this is just the beginning! 💙🌱

We’re organising two more community volunteer days on Sunday 6th and Sunday 13th September, and we’d love to hear from anyone who is willing to come along and lend a hand. On these days, we’ll be tackling some of the more physical stages of the project, including installing fence posts and fencing, excavation and groundwork. With this in mind, we’re looking for volunteers who are comfortable with physical, hands-on work. You don’t necessarily need experience – just a willingness to get stuck in and be part of the team!

Whether you can give a few hours, bring some useful skills, or simply help us spread the word, every bit of support makes a difference.

Please share, follow our progress and help us raise awareness of George’s Forget Me Not Garden. Together, we can create something really special for the whole community. 🌿💙

The construction industry is facing a growing skills shortage, and we believe we need to do more to encourage people into the industry and show them what’s possible.

Kev genuinely loves teaching people, sharing what he knows and giving others opportunities to learn.

A look at the fibreglass roofing stage of one of our recent projects 👷

Getting the details right at this stage is what helps create a watertight, long lasting roof. Preparation is key here.

Fibreglass roofing is a great option for flat roofs, providing a strong, durable and weather resistant finish.

This converted loft space was redundant, but has now given our client 2 bedrooms, a play space AND a bathroom! 👏🏼

What was once a 2 bedroom house is now a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house.
