Winter's on its way, so here's a quick tip for EV drivers around Bucks and MK ⚡ Your charging cable and plug take a battering in the cold and wet. Coil the cable loosely back on its holder after each charge rather than leaving it on the drive, keep the plug in its holster or capped so water and grit stay out, and give it a quick look now and then for cuts, kinks or scorch marks on the pins. If the plug ever feels hot, the charger keeps tripping or something looks damaged, stop using it and get it checked by a qualified electrician.
