This week, our painting and decorating teams start the first of our summer school holiday projects, carrying out external windows and woodwork painting at Wycombe Abbey School.

As a private school, Wycombe Abbey has an 8-week break, which gives us the opportunity to carefully plan and complete these works safely, properly, and ready for the new term.

School work has always been a big part of what we do at ABK. It takes a huge amount of planning, coordination, and attention to detail, and enhanced DBS clearances are, of course, a must for everyone involved.

This year, we are also pleased to be carrying out further decorations to internal areas, including classrooms, stairwells, and corridors at Wycombe High School, just at the top of Marlow hill.

Having an internal project and an external project running over the same period is ideal, especially with our lovely UK weather always keeping us on our toes.

It is always a proud moment seeing the teams head into these projects, knowing the standards expected and the tight timeframes involved.

Let’s hope the weather holds so we can also keep our other external projects moving and continue those into early September.

First external masonry repair & decorating project of the year completed ✅🏡

After a long winter, it’s great to finally get the ladders back out and the exterior painting underway. Let’s hope for a dry summer ahead — we’ve still got some catching up to do after last year’s weather delays! ☀️

A big well done to the team on this one, bringing the property back to life with repairs and a fresh new finish.
