Have we been quiet? Or have YOU been quiet? Hmmm…

We’ve been testing and inspecting a very beautiful hotel in fantastic Warwickshire, as part of the Hotels we help to maintain!

This particular hotel was closed for a wee while, but new owners keen to get it back to its former glory, it’s now fully electrically tested and brought up to the latest standards!

It took us away from our home town of Hitchin for a while, but it was a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to see how this turns out!

We never get bored of board changes.. Distribution boards are the brain to the electrics in the house, all those dangly unsightly wires end up here and it’s our job to make sense of them, hide them, keep them neat, make them secure and safe.

We make sure the cables are right size to power the correct things, be it an EV charger or an induction hob or simply a pendant light or extra sockets,

We also make sure the safety aspect is right too!

We are NICEIC approved electricians and we are fully qualified to carry out work on your home, summerhouse, office, warehouse, commercial premises, workshop and more!

Our Distribution board changes come with a 5 or 10 year certificate depending on its application and we install Surge Protection as standard practice.

Kitchen electrical install we did recently with our friendly kitchen installer, showing the best use of space! We installed usb-a/c sockets, new feeds for the high powered appliances and the white goods and the most important wine fridge -🍷cheers!

A previous happy customer asked us to install some outside lights for her newly redesigned garden and we were happy to oblige! We installed IP rated decking walk over lights, some simple up and down lights on the wall and some spike lights in the flowerbeds and an IP socket for some external power for the lawnmower and other accessories!

Think it looks rather good and she is extremely happy with the end result- the important part!

Scroll to the end ➡️ to see what this space looked like before we started! A great team of trades were able to turn this outdated space in the middle of Hitchin into a beautiful tranquil clinic, for this upcoming business .

It started as a rejig, but in the end, to make the commercial space work we rewired the whole lot, so new socket locations, new switching locations and zones, new distribution board makes this space so peaceful and also functional!

Do drop in when you can, if this is your thing, I’m sure you’ll agree it looks fantastic and Dr.Kate is great too!
