Pirton Pavilion.
It was fantastic to support a local project with Quantity Surveying services from project inception to completion, for the new Sports and Social Club Pavilion for Pirton Parish Council.

Working to a strict budget from the outset, the project involved the construction of the new build pavilion whilst the existing pavilion and surrounding site remained in use. The demolition of the existing building and completion of the external works followed on completion of the new pavilion.

Supporting local sports clubs, the new pavilion provides a multi-purpose venue, complete with Sports England and FA standard changing room facilities, a multi-purpose hall and catering facilties.

RLP provided Employer’s Agent services for the Fourfields development in Potters Bar.

The development comprised of the design and construction of 15 new-build dwellings on the site of a former care home, which was demolished to facilitate the redevelopment.

The development was of traditional masonry construction and included six affordable homes, with the remaining properties completed for private sale.

The works consisted of extensions to the rear and side of the existing detached 1930’s police house, along with full refurbishment of the existing building, alterations to the existing internal layout and a high standard of finishes and fittings adopted throughout.

Next week our new Cambridge retrofit project will start, transforming an existing building with Sustainability at the forefront. Improvements to windows, roofs, walls and all insulation to the fabric of the building. Along with PV’s, LED Lighting, Water saving devices and Heat Recovery Units, the building is anticipated to achieve an EPC score of 48, significantly better than the 188 for typical buildings of existing stock.
