GENCO UK Group Charity Football Tournament is back! ⚽

Following the success of last year’s event, we’re excited to be hosting another tournament this year in support of the Heart of Kent Hospice.

📅 Sunday 5th July 2026
📍 Gallagher Stadium
🕘 Registration from 09:00am | Kick-off at 09:30am

It’s a 6-a-side tournament, open to all local teams (teams of up to 8 players to allow for subs). Entry is £120 per team, with all proceeds going directly to the Heart of Kent Hospice 💚

⏰ Team entries close on Sunday 21st June 2026, so there’s not long left to get involved!

We’re looking forward to another brilliant day filled with football, community spirit, and fundraising for an amazing cause. May the best team come out on top! 🏆

For National Learning at Work Week (18.05.2026 – 24.05.2026), we’re celebrating the many ways we learn here at Genco – from hands-on experience on site, to our training room, external courses, and the everyday support we get from each other. 👷‍♂️🤝

🛠️ Case Study Spotlight | Genco Construction 🛠️

We’re pleased to share a Genco Construction project, under the new Genco UK Group structure, involving essential structural repairs to the access bridge at Tesco Extra Sunbury.

With a project value of £119,000, the works were delivered over a three‑week programme and included replacing defective steel deck plates and upgrading the road surface with a high‑friction resin finish, helping restore safety and long‑term durability.

A great result delivered safely and on time by the Genco Construction team 👏

Our Genco UK Group branding is now live across our fleet. 🚗 ✨

Our vans have officially been sign‑written with our new Genco UK Group branding and graphics, marking another visible step as we move forward under our new structure.

You’ll start to see the updated Genco UK Group look making its way to sites across the region, reflecting our new structure while continuing to represent the same team, values and trusted service - so keep an eye out for us!

A big thank you to WP Commercials Limited for supplying the fleet, and to Quattro design & Print for the sign‑writing — a great job bringing the branding to life.

It’s Official – Genco UK Group ✨

Today marks an exciting milestone for us.

You may have spotted Genco UK Group taking shape over the past few months — and as of today, 1st April 2026, it’s official as we begin trading under our new Group structure.

From today, our specialist divisions will operate as separate legal entities under Genco UK Group:

Genco Construction Services Ltd
Genco Mechanical & Electrical Services Ltd
Genco Fire Safety Ltd

While our structure has evolved, what hasn’t changed is our team, our values, and our commitment to delivering quality, clarity, and trusted service across every project.

Here’s a little behind‑the‑scenes look at the office and some of our new branding as we officially launch Genco UK Group.

💜 Lynn’s Army is taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon 💜

This October, one of our employees, Ashley St Martin, will be taking on the London Royal Parks Half Marathon alongside his dad — pushing his Nan-in-law Lynn in her wheelchair for the entire race, so she can experience every step of the journey with them.

After suffering a stroke and aneurysm 17 years ago, Lynn’s strength and determination continue to shine through. This challenge is about making a very special wish come true while raising money for the Stroke Association.

It is with a heavy heart that we share an update following our previous post.

Our colleague and friend’s son, Jason Stevens, has been found and has sadly passed away.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who shared our posts, offered support, and put themselves forward to help with the search. Your kindness and willingness to help meant so much.

Helen, Scott and Katie have also asked us to pass on their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who reached out, shared information, and offered to join the search for Jason.

As a result of this sad news, the community search planned for this weekend has now been cancelled.

Our deepest love, thoughts and condolences are with Helen, Scott, Katie and their family at this incredibly difficult time.

We kindly ask that their privacy is respected as they take the time they need with their loved ones.

Community, Care & Genco: A Day of Christmas Tree Recycling 🎄

When the decorations came down, our Director John Roberts was ready to get involved – helping recycle Christmas trees for a great cause.

On Saturday 10th January, John set off early and teamed up with Genco friend Tim Horrell to support Heart of Kent Hospice with their tree recycling initiative. Using the Genco tipper, they collected trees across the local area as part of an effort that raised over £14,000 and recycled around 750 trees over three days.

A big thank you to Heart of Kent Hospice for organising and to everyone who donated. Proud to do our bit for the community, the environment, and a great charity. 💚
