Really happy with this sensory path design after it had been completed; amazing how many colours of local stone there are to use in the segmented path and hexagonal seating area. A nice contrast between the hard and soft materials on the walling and raised planters.

With the interesting tress and plants including Adam's Laburnum, various Acers, Cornus Midwinter Fire, Wysteria, Blacklace Elderberry amongst others to provide year round colour it will be nice to return next season to see how the planting scheme is establishing.

So important to care for the little critters that frequent our gardens; they do so much for us from the the humble bumble bee to hedgehogs and birds of prey. Even the much maligned flies and wasps that spend their lives controlling pests and helping to neutralise pungent rotting matter.

They look after us so well it's the time of year to look after them; providing foods for them, leaving berries on trees and providing shelter from adverse weather conditions.

Hi all.

For those wondering what the change of business name is about, I've had to close down my previous business, Outdoor Spaces, due to my recent operation on my shoulder from an injury that made it impossible to keep working on the projects that Outdoor Soaces specialised in. The recovery time for the left shoulder and imminent surgery on my other shoulder after significant physio mean that returning to garden installation is impossible.

I have now reincarnated the business as pure garden and landscape design and sm pleased to be working with reputable local landscaping companies to realise the designs that I generate for customers.

I offer bespoke designs for clients and very much work with the customer to create the best ideas to enhance their outdoor environment and can add water features, sculpture, creative planting, garden structures and surfaces into a scheme sympathetic to the client's lifestyle and pocket.

I am pleased that I am nearing completion on my 6th garden design project under the name of the new business and am hoping for further success and happy customers in the future!

In the meantime here are a couple of photos of my new business nerve centre created in our cellar (I've been told I'm not allowed to call it the 'crib'by Patrick, my ever critical son!
