We’re looking to bring an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist (5+ years) into our team at Trewin Design Architects.

We work on housing and planning-led schemes across the South West, and this role offers the chance to take on real responsibility, working directly with clients and leading projects.

We’re based in North Devon but offer flexible and hybrid working, and we’re open to people relocating to the area.

Not every building is meant to please everyone.

This is something I learnt early on as a student, and it has stayed with me throughout my career.

In this short clip, I reflect on that lesson and how it shapes the way we approach design today. It is about being clear in your thinking, having conviction, and creating buildings that resonate with the right people.

This project, Gaia at Widemouth Bay, is a good example of that approach. A contemporary coastal home designed to respond to its setting and perform in a demanding environment.
