- Solar Thermal - which use the energy from the sunlight to heat water
- Windmills/wind turbines - which use the energy from the wind to produce electricity

A Rayburn and gas hybrid system we completed this week.

Running a solid fuel Rayburn, with a gas boiler as back up.

This means the home owner can run the house from the Rayburn, but if needed the heating and hot water are backed up with the gas boiler.
A hybrid heating system means less reliance on gas and you can use your own wood.
