Today is an extremely emotional day for me as founder of Synergi SW 🥹.

Today we say goodbye to the first ever Synergi van 😭😭😭. 14 Years of loyal service, the cold mornings, late nights, journeys in the snow, hundreds of people rescued from the cold and second home to Bear the dog!

2 gear boxes, 3 fuel tanks, 1 turbo, 4 injectors, 1 exhaust pipe, 2 batteries, 1 cylinder head, 1 intercooler, 1 water pump, 1 drive shaft, 1 head gasket, 2 timing belts, 1 crank shaft, 1 sump, 1 timing chain, 1 drivers seat, 4 left side mirrors, 1 right side mirror, 1 thermostat housing, 1 catalyst filter, 28 tyres and a load more of things I can’t remember. This time we just can’t save it.

To van that turned a dream into a family business. To the van that turned a skill into an income. To the van that started it all! The van that started an empire 🛠️🔥💧🛠️. RIP ❤️

Another heat pump installation complete 🔥🌱

Another home has made the move to lower-carbon heating with the installation of an Ariston Nimbus Pocket 80 M NET R32 air source heat pump, backed by a 7-year warranty.

Every property presents different challenges, and this one required careful planning to make the new system work around the existing layout. With the previous boiler located in the loft, our team designed a new pipework route to connect into the existing heating system while keeping unnecessary disruption and additional pipework to a minimum.

The completed installation included:
🔧 Ariston Nimbus Pocket 80 M NET R32 air source heat pump
💧 200L Telford high-gain hot water cylinder, relocated to the garage
⚙️ Buffer vessel/volumiser
🌡️ Weather compensation controls
⚡ Dedicated electrical consumer unit
🧲 Magnetic filter and debris strainer
❄️ Anti-freeze valves
💦 Purpose-designed condensate drainage to the nearby drain
🚿 Fully open-loop priority hot water arrangement

The outdoor unit was neatly positioned at the rear of the property, with the new heating and hot water system carefully integrated into the home.

It’s a good example of why heat pump installations aren't simply about choosing a new unit - the design, pipework, controls and integration with the existing property all matter.
