Are you looking for and Apprenticeship?

Our company is looking to recruit a new apprentice to join our team of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning engineers. We are keen to hear from anyone who is looking to either progress their career or starting a new career path.
At Setpoint Solutions we specialise in Air-conditioning, our projects are anything from splits to large scale engineered HVAC solutions. We work in a variety of sectors which include commercial buildings, health care, schools and hotels. We also work for domestic clients and for architects on some amazing properties. It’s varied and so your days can be spent in a variety of locations, what stays the same is top notch customer service, attention to detail and sticking to our processes and health and safety policies.

Initially the role involves learning all the practical skills required and if you have any previous experience with working in construction you will have an advantage here. You will be paired up with an experienced engineer and will learn from them along with the professional training at college. The qualification is the City & Guilds 6090-50 level 3 Refrigeration, Air-conditioning and Heat Pump apprenticeship. This is a 3-year course with training provided by Channicool Training Services, Plymouth in weekly blocks each year.

Last night the Setpoint Solutions Ltd team had a little celebration at the wonderful River Exe Cafe, it was a great opportunity to get together with our brilliant team and thank them for all their hard work, while also celebrating Cameron Deimert finally receiving his level 3 Technician Apprenticeship in Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps certificate. A big thank you goes to Jay Hodges for guiding Cameron from a novice all the way to the Engineer he is today. The company couldn't be prouder of all Cam has achieved thanks to everyone's support.
It was a great evening, and we all enjoyed the excellent food and service at the River Exe Cafe, it's simply fantastic and we give it a 10/10.

Every year we select a local Charity to support. This year we have teamed up with St Petrock's in Exeter because we believe that everyone deserves a home. Through our own donations and sponsored events, we hope we can support the great community work St Petrock's is doing for homeless and venerable people in our home city.
If you want to support them too then a great way to do this is donate clothing or bags/sleeping bags that are in good condition. So, if you're having a spring clean, we are happy to take any donations to the drop off for you. Just pop by our office in Dunkeswell Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with your donation and we will get it to those who need it. Thank you.

Gripple Limited visited us at Setpoint Solutions HQ last week with samples and plans for stocking our engineers' vans with their Fast Track containment products. Having tested the system on recent projects with concrete ceilings the quality, speed and neatness of Gripple Fast Track is the way forward for us.
