It’s been way too hot for comfort in many UK homes this week 🥵

Progress is being made internally on one of our sites in north Leeds.

All the stud walls have been built and the rooms in the roofspace have also ben boarded out. Including the installation of sound insulation to the bedroom & bathroom walls.

The first fix electrics is also well underway, with the top floor completed.

We have just recieved approval from the planners for a loft conversion on a beautiful period property in a village near Goole.

Careful consideration was given to the design to ensure the additional roof space created was not visible from the ground, so as not to negativly impact on the current period features.

The design was created within the strict parameters of permitted develpoment. This enabled us to apply for a Certificate of Lawful Development from the planners. Making the planning process much simpler.

The new spaces creates 4 additional bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We are now working on the building regulations ad detailed design infomration. With works intended to start on site soon.

The stuctural steelwork for the new stairs at our project in north Leeds has been installed on site.

They are cantilevered from the wall and will have a glazed handrail.

There is currently temporary plywood for the treads while works progress. When comlpeted they will be finished in oak.

A walk through the ground floor of our new build house in south Leeds.

All the structural walls are up and the first floor is installed. Although there are a few stud walls to build you can start to get a sense of the space.

The vast majority of builders and tradesmen and honest hard working people.

However unfortunately, every now and then, this is not the case.

This is a BBC article about a cowboy builder stealing money from homeowners in Leeds.

After Stefano went through this horrible ordeal he contacted us and we are now working with him to rectify the mess left by the cowboy builder.

It's always nice to get client reviews, but every now and then we get one from a client that really makes you stop and realise how much of a positive impact you have on their lives.

The first floor has been installed on our new build house in south Leeds.

This has been created using steels and posit joists (metal web joists).

It is great seeing the build taking shape. The next stage is to continue the walls up to roof level.

We've just submitted a planning application to covert a disused industrial unit in the north east into a new leisure facility. Housing 6 padel courts and a pickle ball court.
