A great one to return to 🌿
We revisited a project this week that we completed around a year ago to see how the creeping thyme lawn has established — and it’s safe to say it’s doing really well.
The plants have now started to knit together nicely, filling out the space and creating a dense, low growing carpet. It’s great to see how much it has developed over the past year.
Creeping thyme is a brilliant alternative to traditional lawn areas, bringing texture, scent and seasonal colour to the garden.
We’ll be sharing more photos once it’s in full flower, which is when it really comes into its own 🌸

A productive day in Sway today 🌿🔨
Our customer had an area of the garden where grass just wouldn’t grow, so they asked us to create something more useful and attractive. The solution was to build three new raised beds to turn the space into a great area for planting.
We installed treated sleeper raised beds, then filled them with fresh soil and woodchip, leaving them all ready for planting. 🌱
A simple change that creates plenty of extra space for flowers and shrubs .
All set for the customer to start planting and bring the beds to life 🌼

Out with the old and in with the new 🔨✨
This week we completed a full fence replacement in Barton on Sea. The previous fence had clearly been added to over the years with a mixture of old panels, random pieces of timber and trellis just to keep it standing. It had definitely reached the end of its life.
We removed the old patchwork fence and installed a brand new 6ft closeboard fence with a 1ft trellis on top, giving the garden a clean, strong boundary while still letting some light through 🌿

We’ve just finished installing this beautiful privacy trellis to transform this ground floor flat garden.
The new fencing creates a much more private space while also providing a safe, low-maintenance area for the customer’s dog to enjoy some fresh air 🐾
This south-facing garden is going to be a real sun trap in the warmer months ☀️ It will look even better once it’s dressed with climbing plants weaving through the trellis, stylish pots, and some comfortable garden furniture to complete the space.
A practical solution that still looks great.
