DPS Electrical has successfully completed the electrical work at the Camden goods yard site for Watkins MEP. This six month project was a lovely job The scope of our work included:

* Mains distribution panels plus containment
* termination of cables for a 1000kva diesel transformer with automatic changeover switch with quadruple 240mm cables terminated into the panel that supplies 4 core blocks of emergency power
* Tri-rated 300s treble supplies terminated into the generator panel
* Provision for 25x ATS panels
Supporting sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems/aov/ lift supplies roof top mechanical plant
*mechanical plant room distribution boards plus small power and lighting.rooftop LED signage/lettering

We are pleased to confirm that DPS Electrical has completed the project at Valor Park, Purfleet for a client . The work was carried out by a team of 10 man within six months.

The project involved thousands of metres of fitting high-level containment throughout the warehouse, covering fire alarm, power, and lighting, in preparation for the new client’s to takeover. In total, we installed 66 emergency lighting fittings in armored cable. Additionally,six numbered distribution boards, along with a mains panel plus 46 external security floodlights  plus emergency bulkhead above fire exit doors were also installed during this timeframe. This was a tight timeframe for a huge scale project, but we achieved it and the client was beyond happy.

We haven’t posted for a while as we have been so busy on other projects. Here is a job we completed last year. This project was delivered by DPS Electrical to the client at the Olympia Events building in Kensington, carried out between 2024 and 2025.

DPS Electrical successfully completed a CAT A fit-out across Levels 4, 5, and 6, and roof top each comprising approximately 9,000 sq. ft. Our scope of works included the full installation of electrical containment, power and lighting systems, distribution boards, and rising busbar infrastructure.

The project incorporated the installation of 916 lighting fixtures per floor, including emergency lighting, along with containment systems to support fire alarm, cleaners power sockets, and fan coil units throughout the building. In addition, we installed the infrastructure supporting the Building Management System (BMS).

A DALI lighting control system was installed by DPS Electrical and subsequently commissioned by CP Electronics, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency across all areas. Roof top containment for pv areas, plus containment and swa for ats panels.

This 11-month project reflects our capability to deliver large-scale, high-quality electrical installations within commercial environments.

Another one of our completed projects from last year. Nine Elms Parkside, Battersea. Over 2 and a half years of work has gone into this one. Infrastructure for 870 units over 2 separate blocks each containing 3 cores of 18, 12 and 10 floors. 2 x high level primary containment installs, 2 x mains distribution panels, 12 x rising busbars and riser containment, 6 x staircases, communal lighting and power, 2 x car park lighting and EVC install, all associated plant rooms and much more. A challenging but enjoyable contract delivered by the team alongside one of our long standing clients.

Deanston wharf infrastructure for a new Client. January 23 to January 24. We are halfway through this monster of a project 769 apartments in total.

Work carried out so far, 7 mains rooms, 20 automatic changeover switch panels, 4 roof top areas with full plant equipment, 56 floors of ukps landlord risers, 56 floors of communication network rises, plus 56 floors of power/lighting staircore tube. 4 energy centres. Let’s just say we’ve had a busy year on this one.

Design and build mains distribution arrangement comprising of 3-Phase 240mm incoming singles into 800A mainswitch onto adjacent Ryefield board, 1 x 16 way & 1 x 13 way Eaton Panel boards and continuation of distribution to locally situated Ryefield boards in electrical risers to serve apartments.
