With all the trouble, pain and strife in life…get out there and see the green, see the trees, catch a breeze..switch off (after reading this of course..) and walk away from all the hate, distraction and anger…soak up a bit of peace and quiet..it’s tough sometimes..just daily life..hard to be thankful..but it’s much tougher elsewhere and people are hurting..have a thought..have a few..but try to end with a smile..think back to happy times ..it takes away a lot of life’s shtuff.

Seasonal Tip: Hedge trimming pause

It's that time of year when we need to give our hedges a breather. From now until later in the summer, trimming of hedges and bushes should be kept to a minimum to protect and nurture our nesting and fledging feathered friends.

A tidy garden is lovely however we need to keep an eye out for nesting and fledgling birds and their families.

Many of you will know that we were the subject of a burglary of some of our equipment recently.

Last night thieves stole two mowers, a chipper and two small ladders from Eastbourne Rd. They were in a White Vivaro l/ Transit style van. The time of the theft is around 23:30hrs or so. A neighbour who saw the thieves take off kindly tried to trace the vehicle by driving around Hornsea to see if he could find it..to no avail.
Any information regarding this theft would be gratefully received. Please can folk check their security cameras for the vehicle making their way out of Hornsea from Eastbourne Rd passing up Burton Road..then their route is unknown. Thanks in advance
