It’s almost time to tee off!

In just a couple of days, our founder Mark O’Halloran will be taking on the 100 Hole Golf Marathon in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Starting at 4am at Slinfold Golf & Country Club, Mark and his brothers, Steve and Matt, will be walking more than a marathon distance, playing 100 holes, and taking around 1,400 shots between them.

They have already surpassed their £5,000 fundraising target, which is an incredible achievement before the challenge has even begun.

They are doing it for their Uncle Peter, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in August 2025, and we will be cheering them on from the first drive to the final putt.

On 18th June, Mark, Steve and Matt will be taking on 100 holes of golf in one day for the MND Association, in support of their Uncle Peter.

It is a huge physical challenge, but the reason behind it is much bigger than the golf.

Peter was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in August 2025. Since then, life has changed quickly for him and for everyone who loves him.

This challenge is one way for the family to do something practical, positive and visible, while raising money for a charity that supports people affected by MND and funds vital research.

Starting at 4am, they will attempt to complete 100 holes in a single day. That means walking the equivalent of a marathon distance or more, being on their feet for up to 18 hours and keeping going long after a normal round would have ended.

They are doing this for their Uncle Peter, who was diagnosed with MND in August 2025, and to support the MND Association, who are already helping Peter and his family.
