Another successful project completed for our long-term and highly valued client, Thermo Fisher Scientific in Horsham.

Working out of hours to minimise disruption to site operations, our team had just 24 hours to complete this project.

A special thank you to Geoff Greenfield Ltd for carrying out the planing works and helping us deliver this project within the tight timeframe.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved to deliver a high-quality result safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Finishing off Friday on a high!

A huge well done to our team for completing this domestic driveway project in Worthing. Great to be working alongside our new partners at Streetspace Group on this playground resurfacing project in Reading.

Our team carried out the hand lay of 38 tonnes of AC6 asphalt, delivering a smooth and durable finish despite the extremely hot conditions. Thankfully, the team had some shelter on site which definitely helped during the heat!

A big thank you as well to our trusted partner Geoff Greenfield Ltd for carrying out the planings ahead of the resurfacing works.

Another fantastic domestic resurfacing project completed by the SGS team in Bolney.

This beautiful property now has a brand-new tarmac driveway to complete the overall look, with works including full excavation, new granite sett edging, drainage installation, and a new asphalt surface over an area of 514m².

Another driveway completed in Horsham using the impressive Necker Island Resin supplied by Vuba

Always good to show the full process from start to finish. High-quality results are built on solid groundwork, careful preparation, and attention to detail throughout every phase of the project.

We’re extremely pleased with the finished result, and most importantly, the client was delighted with their new driveway.

Finishing off the week strong in Horley, despite the challenging weather!

Works included:
• Excavation of existing tarmac and tree roots
• Grading and preparation of the existing sub-base
• Installation of membrane and 50mm primary Type 1
• Ironwork adjustments as required
• Hand laid AC20 Dense Binder at 50mm
• Hand laid AC10 Red Dense Binder at 30mm
• Completed resurfacing area of 75m²

A great effort from the team to deliver a clean and durable finish.

With the summer holidays fast approaching, now is the perfect time for schools to start planning any resurfacing or groundwork projects ready for the new academic year.

Over the years, we have partnered with a number of schools and companies, delivering projects including:

Weekly Site Update

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the team, with good progress across a range of projects.

We’ve completed Phase 3 at Rikkyo School for The Shore Group , delivered a car park resurfacing project in St Albans for , and finished base preparation on a domestic job in Horsham — now ready for its final resin layer.

A solid mix of commercial and residential work, keeping things moving across multiple sites.
