Due to being extremely busy, Finch Group NW Ltd are looking to expand our team and are on the lookout for an experienced Roller Shutter & Industrial Door Fitter to join us.

🔧 The ideal candidate will have experience in:
• Roller shutters
• Industrial doors
• High-speed doors
• Sectional doors
• Fire doors & shutters
• Installation, maintenance & repairs
• Confidently taking the lead on site

⏰ Punctuality is a MUST
🚗 Full UK driving licence is required
📞 Call-out rota required
📅 Full-time, Monday–Friday
2️⃣5️⃣ - Over the age of 25 due to insurance.

📍 Workshop based in Horwich
🌎 Working throughout the North West and beyond

💰 Pay to be discussed depending on experience.

Our engineer attended site to supply and install 68 new laths and a new T-bar to a roller shutter door. The shutter was fully tested following the works and left operating correctly. ✅

✔️ Shutter left in working order

🔧 Further works identified:
A new left-hand guide is required to complete the repair.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL AUTO DOOR REPAIR COMPLETED!

Our team were in Leyland to carry out essential repairs to their automatic doors.

The job involved replacing 4 faulty auto-door sensors with new GEZE OTS versions. Following installation, our engineer set up and tested the system thoroughly, operating the doors several times to ensure everything was working correctly.

Another reactive callout completed by Finch Group NW Ltd today for a roller shutter experiencing intermittent operation.

Our engineer attended site, investigated the fault and carried out adjustments to get the shutter operating as reliably as possible, including resetting the limits and checking the operation of the shutter.

🔧 Further works identified:
A new barrel and tubular motor are required, with the existing motor to be assessed for possible salvage where practical.

Our engineers attended site to gain access to a roller shutter using a generator, allowing the customer to regain access to their premises with minimal disruption.

As part of the visit, we also collected and returned the site keys, secured the premises, and ensured the key safe was fitted with a new padlock for added security.

The roller shutter was safely opened and left in the required position, allowing the customer to continue operating while further arrangements could be made.
