Full strip and recover completed in Durham
This tired old roof has had a full refresh consisting of new eve support, trays 2x1 treated battens, breathable membrane, flat modern concrete tiles. All finished off with dry verge and ridge systems. Leaving any future maintenance very minimal.

We’re looking for a hard-working, reliable labourer to join our roofing team for an immediate start.

📍 Monday–Friday – Working away during the week
📅 Approx. 3 months’ work
✅ Potential to be kept on permanently for the right person

What you’ll be doing:
• Assisting roofers on site
• Carrying materials
• Using hand and power tools
• General labouring and site duties
• Working outdoors in all weather

Requirements:
• Experience using tools is essential
• Roofing experience preferred but not required (we can teach the right person)
• Good work ethic and physically fit
• Reliable and able to work away from home during the week

This role suits someone who isn’t afraid of graft, wants steady work, and is looking to build a long-term career in roofing.

We have recently completed our biggest job to date. The roof works on the Northern Echo Office Darlington with a very happy customer we have had the pleasure of working with.

A complete strip and recover of 3 pitched roofs
2 of them needing new rafters and ridge tree, completed in flat moderns and Cambrian slate with 158 integrated solar panels.
3 warm roofs of 250sqm consisting of 150mm kingspan throughout.

We are very pleased with the finished job and looking forward to working on more projects like this in the near future.
