Called out to a leak coming through the ceiling downstairs, the source of the leak was a faulty control valve,upon further inspection the expansion vessel had also failed, with this being totally full of water and unsupported the weight bent the copper pipe narrowly avoiding a big leak

Control valve replaced along with a new potable expansion vessel, repiped and secured to the wall £550

The old set up was storing 206 litres of hot water just to supply a kitchen tap and basin tap with hot water! I replaced this with a unit that stores 10 litres of hot water, increases the hot water pressure and gives the home owner some extra storage space too.
