Recent finished job

A few jobs completed at My Tribe Fitness this week working around classes so that mums and babies could still carry on their routines and bonding time with their mums.

From doors that have been not opening properly, doors which have been split and handles that have fallen off.

But the main part was to cover a flacking boring wall with some acoustic wall panels.

Just a little mention to my tribe a fantastic little place for mums always something going on from fitness to stay and play, baby massage, sing and sign and much more. If you have had a baby or have a toddler and need somewhere to go train with other mums please give the a message and have a chat with Jodie.

Good evening everyone.

A recently finished job.

Little remit of the job.

The customer is slowly restoring/ renovating their house with some period details. They didn’t want some mdf alcove units, they opted for a more traditional cabinet made from pine and are going to paint it them selves. Adding some lighting tracks for some leds in the top and top shelf. These have been designed and sketched by the customer and built on site to their specifications.

They started to paint the cabinets over the weekend and the doors was added today.

Can’t wait to see the finished result.

A project just finished. Customer had asked for the stairs to be made smaller to gain part of the room back. Old carpets took out and replaced with laminate flooring. Customer chose and ordered the flooring I just fitted it. All flooring goes under the frames and goes all the through the hall and cloakroom with no joints creating a seamless finish. Stairs are made with an oak stair cladding kit. Already for the decorator to work their magic.

Good afternoon.

Just realised I never posted this amazing kitchen. The customer bought this kitchen as an ex display. Bought an other couple of cabinets and some acoustic panels and made it all their own. I was asked to fit it using all the old work tops and splash backs. I think it turned out amazing. This was completed just before Christmas.

A very good evening.

For the people that have followed me or used my services, I am not a person to blow my own trumpet. I do the job I am employed to do and give the best advice to my knowledge to help my customers achieve the vision they have. I am also an absolute nightmare for replying to messages and also getting quotes back to people. I sit down to do a quote of an evening then completely forget to send as I write the message in draft waiting to send at more convenient time, but then completely forget.

I only really post photos of my work to show people what I can do. I have to admit I don’t take enough photos of my work simply because I forget or I think it’s not important when in reality it needs to be done.

I have had a nightmare start to the year with one thing and another. This has really thrown me. Not being able to start work due to larger contracts starting to then them not coming to fruition which has really messed with the flow of work and also my head space being clouded and not managing to comprehend my value as a contractor.

Self employment is a very hard lonely place especially when it’s just one person/me doing all necessary roles for the company.

Sorry for the long post it’s Facebook keep saying engage with you followers so thought I would just come on and air my views.

Please if I haven’t got back to you I do apologise but moving forward I will be doing my best to engage more with more photos posts that you all deserve.

Hey up!!

I would like to first apologise for anybody that hasn’t had a quote it seems Facebook business has not been sending out certain messages for some reason I don’t know. Please if you have been waiting could you please WhatsApp me as it’s not letting me reply to some messages on Facebook.
I do apologise I am not ignoring people it’s all out of my hands.

On the plus side have a look at this bit of paving I have recently done. I have done a lot of work for this customer for over a few years with certain projects which is now all coming together.

Customer supplied all materials and the weather was kind only a couple of showers 😀.

Good evening been very quiet on here lately I must apologise.

With this lovely weather lately it’s been nice to do an outside job and not get wet 😀 (if you know you know.)

Here is a job I completed for 4 neighbours that all wanted their fence doing. They all pitched in and got it all done at the same time which was fantastic for me 👍.

The whole garden was up and down so I had to step it up here and there and just go with the flow.

Not posted much of the work done lately. It’s been a hard few weeks after loosing my dog we all know that the pets become part of the family and loosing one is hard.

But nonetheless we still get on with making my customers visions a reality.

Good morning.

Last year as a very small business I advertised in a charity brochure, not really done anything like this before. I was hoping to get a few leads but nothing I was a little disappointed.

Today I had a phone call from the charity with a warm thank you. With my money from the advert they printed 750 copies of their magazine. This helped them raise £3500 just from my advert. I am very happy to have helped the charity I have put a copy of their web site below this shows what they do as a charity. Please read it’s all to help children.
