Independent and unbiased freelance roof and building inspections/surveying and consultation services in all sectors (domestic, commercial, industrial and public buildings etc.) Within the Roofing and Construction Industry there is an essential requirement to able to carry detailed and accurate roof surveys to fragile/unsafe/high level inaccessible roof areas, buildings and structures. With the use

of the latest Drone/Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) technology and associated software/apps K2 Surveyors’ primary focus as a is to achieve this requirement saving Clients’ costly scaffolding and access equipment hire and time. More importantly the use of UAS for this purpose will eliminate the risks to Client employees’ Health and Safety without the need for traditional surveying methods/equipment. In addition to the above service K2 Surveyors can also offer other general commercial/industrial imagery services to meet Clients’ requirements (for promotional use through websites, social media etc.). All aerial operations will be carried out in strict accordance with current CAA and HSE Regulations. There will be occasions where capturing aerial imagery is unfeasible due to safety and financial constraints. On these occasions K2 Surveyors are also equipped with a high definition still/video camera mounted to a 11m portable telescopic mast to provide high level imagery at a minimal cost. K2 Surveyors currently hold :
CAA Operational Authorisation PDRA01 for using sub 25kg multi-rotor drone. Coverdrone Insurance Cover which is fully compliant to EU Regulation (EC) No.785/2004. ARPAS-UK Membership No. 697
Enhanced DBS Certificate (Children & Adults)
Member of the Institute of Roofing (MIoR)

Ideal drone take-off and landing zone at yesterday's congested area aerial roof and building inspection. It nicely covered the reduced separation zone granted in our CAA Operational Authorisation (OA) using the DJI Phantom 4 Pro workhorse.

We are pleased to announce the renewal of our Non-Standard Permission for an Operating Safety Case (OSC) has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for another year. This "variation" renewal now allows us to fly even closer to uninvolved persons than before. We are now able to take off and land as close as 5m and fly as close as 10m from uninvolved persons using a 1.4Kg quadcopter drone, allowing us to continue to provide highly accurate measured surveys of inaccessible roof areas in highly congested areas.
