Retirement of well known engineer, local rugby league player and coach. Simon Dransfield had a long career at Highfield Gear and finished with a 26 year stint at M. Thornton Engineering. A well respected member of the team and huge loss to the company and engineering sector. We wish him a very long and enjoyable retirement.
