My customer is from Italy, apparently this technique is very popular over there. I think it's quite effective personally.
Dulux Heritage sage green walls, Armstead Trade durable matt on the white borders, Eclipse on the ceiling and Colourtrend satin on the woodwork.

This week's lovely little project for one of my regular customers. A full colour drench in Farrow & Ball Cardamom Dead Flat Emulsion with wallpapered panel centres. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this paint! A lot of decorators seem to dislike the F&B brand but the new dead flat is an excellent paint for application, finish AND durability. That's right, I said it, IT'S GOOD GEAR!! Obviously you need to adhere to the correct system of application to get the best results which means using the correct primers on walls, ceilings, woodwork and metalwork. Maybe that's why a lot of "decorators" can't get the finish or durability because they miss the important parts! Everything was sprayed on this job except the fire surround which was hand painted in Fusion Mineral Paint, a first for me personally. It went on nice enough using brush and mini roller and left a lovely finish. I can't comment on durability yet but I'm sure my customer will keep me posted when she sends me updated photos after the room is carpeted and dressed.
System - 1 coat F&B dark tones wall and ceiling primer
1 coat F&B dark tones wood primer
1 coat metal primer on radiator
2 coats F&B Dead flat emulsion, colour Cardamom.
2 coats Fusion Mineral Paint in colour "coal black" on fire surround.
Wallpaper is from Casamance group.

The colour scheme was put together by a Farrow & Ball designer for everything in this house and the colour choices are beautiful! This bathroom is in F&B Cromarty modern emulsion with F&B Schoolhouse White Flat eggshell on the woodwork and door.

Added a touch of colour to this lovely kitchen for my big brother Neil and my sister-in-law Dot Woolley last weekend. Colour is Pacifica by Crown Trade Paint with white Eclipse by Macpherson Trade Paints on the ceiling and white gloss MSP by Bedec: The Paint Company on the woodwork.

Finished off a little bathroom this morning with a lovely accent wall. Paper by "Clarke and Clarke" went up nice. Video has been sped up by 4x as a 7 minute video of me papering is bad enough but a 30 minute one is ridiculous! 🤣 Backing track is "Kill the messenger" by my good friends Bravado Cartel. I did ask Shayne Whitton - new the drummer for his blessing but if any of the other lads have an issue please let me know and I'll change it. #

Anaglypta all stripped to reveal the glorious 70's style underneath! You can see the 3rd paper where I've started stripping the 2nd one. These two were a nightmare to strip!
