A little walling project to suit the surroundings. Stood at 2m high it provides privacy, and paired with an electric sliding gate, a safe and secure storage area before the whole project develops further.

An all time favourite !

Responding to the usage of a space and where the sun finally sets, helps shape what to put where !

Group planting helps give a solid balance, a flow of texture and colour, it’s been great to finally go back and see how things have grown and established.

Curved Gabion bench seating helped movement from the home to the main centre feature of the fire table. Made from scratch from a 200 year old Devonshire mill wheel, Supplied by West Yorkshire Architectural Antiques . Once the granite was sandblasted, the two tonne wheel really stretched lifting equipment to finally sit on top of more curved rusting steel.
A gas fired system was designed and installed to help warm visitors and their marshmallows, with subtle lighting and seating repurposed from oxyacetylene canisters, their rusting patina brought together the whole scheme.

Great results are easy with solid communication.

A great solution to reclaiming an otherwise limited land area, and offering long term value, Gabion baskets proved first choice above other options.

100tons of stone backfill manoeuvred through challenging access was worth the effort to justify a view above any other !

We love a challenge but wow, this cosy little area and day bed certainly gave some of the most troublesome access for years! Almost fully hidden away, there was just the odd viewpoint left to deal with, and the orientation of the black ash pergola and planting gave full privacy.
With Granite cobbles plus plenty of stone dressing to gain curves, bullnose edging to soften some copings, and even a bespoke pan stand just for the hell of it. Why not.

What a place Cawthorn is ! The scale of things kept accumulating, surrounded by secure fences nobody could get over, the weather forecast was favourable and as ever the ground underfoot was firm. Perfecta !
We had to put two tonnes down on the rear ground just to balance the Goliath of a sculpture.
Absolute straight winner from start to finish !

Sticking on the landscaping theme, a timber hot tub surround finally protected from the wind with all round fencing. Scottish cobble and sleeper benches ready for the family round the firepit.
Built in the winter, to capitalise on the summer……if and when it comes !!

Our client wasn’t too keen on what colour options the brochures offered, so we used a blend of tegula blocks to achieve a lighter overall colour.
