Copra is the traditional name for the dried white part of the coconut from which coconut oil is extracted. Once the oil is extracted, the remaining high fibre, high energy, conditioning meal becomes Copra Meal.

Mycotoxins have the potential to have a significant impact on your horse and they can be commonly be found in the field, in forage and sometimes in feed.

There are a few simple ways that you can help manage your horses exposure such as, avoiding drought-stressed fields, storing hay for at least 3 months before feeding, buy feed from FEMAS accredited manufacturers and store them in a clean, cool and dry place.
