It’s not often you get asked back to completely renovate the interior of a property you constructed only a few years ago, but due to unforeseen circumstances, here we are carrying out a full renovation of the entire ground floor.

Unfortunately, leaking incoming main pipes can cause an incredible amount of damage, especially when they’re hidden away under screed or in areas that aren’t easily accessible or visible. What started as an unseen leak has resulted in a significant amount of work to bring this property back to the standard it deserves.😉😊

Some updated images from one of our projects over in Aldermaston.

This project incorporates two new footprints alongside a complete remodel of the existing property, including a brand-new roof over the existing structure.

It’s really starting to take shape, and we’re looking forward to moving on to the next stage of this extensive project.

Progress is coming along nicely on our Aldermaston project.

We’re constructing a high-performance flat warm roof incorporating our own unique inverted eaves detail. The roof will be finished with 150mm insulation, a premium EPDM rubber membrane, and a stunning 6m x 2m aluminium roof lantern that will flood the new living space with natural light.

To the front of the property, we’re constructing a pitched roof incorporating an overslung porch, complete with a beautiful oak support post. This will tie seamlessly into the existing roof, creating a traditional appearance while complementing the modern extension.

Exterior finishes to be buff brickwork, composite cladding and render.

Aldermaston-

Construction of a modest front extension in buff facing brickwork, together with a substantial rear extension constructed in blockwork with a Monocouche rendered finish. The project includes the installation of a large flat roof incorporating a 6m x 2m aluminium roof lantern.

The works also include the full refurbishment of the existing property, together with the installation of approximately 100m² of external paving and the construction of associated retaining walls.

Have absolutely loved this one, I was personnelly involved when it was originally built 23 years ago, and then by chance it ends up on my desk as a new project!!!

Another great week of glorious weather ahead!!

Rear elevation steels installed, now were ready to start cutting this huge flat roof..

While the roof at the rear is being cut, we will push on to plate height on the front elevation.

It’s been a busy day over at Lambourn!
This has been an amazing project to work on and it just keeps going, triple bay garage converted to one bedroom annex, 200m2 of limestone with bespoke seating and pergola, landscaping, oak framed garden room, oak framed garage, Flemish bond garden wall to form a courtyard, still to be paved..
There’s lots more to come so watch this space👽🚀
Today I also had some visitors, the Bee’s are so thirsty they are landing on the wall and sucking water from the cement beds!!🐝🐝🐝
