2017 Audi S3 for spare remote keys at Quattro Tech Cars.

This one has a Virtual Cockpit meaning we can’t read Immo data via obd.

We have 2 options, either remove instrument cluster and strip down and clamp onto or disassemble the working key and calculate data from that.

We opted for the key option as any damage to the ic could be very expensive.

Key opened and tiny capacitor removed, soldered 2 wires to board and data read.

New dealer key generated and coded to vehicle

All done within 2 hours of the call. 👍👌👊

2016 Audi Q7 for spare proximity key.

These keys are known as MLB keys and without a dealer tool, login and dealer key this job unit now was not possible.

To complete the job first we have to disassemble the original key. Then we must desolder 2 tiny capacitors, we then can clamp on the pcb and collect the data.

With this data our software calculates the immobiliser data which allows us to generate our new ”dealer key”. We then resolder the capacitors and program both the new key and the original to the car.

This method also works with MLB keys used by VAG, Porsche, Bentley etc.

Another win for our customers saving on dealer prices and far less hassle as we come to you.

2017 VW Golf for spare remote key.

Unfortunately this one has an instrument cluster made by Johnson Controls. The Immo data on these clusters cannot be read by OBD.

Cluster removed and opened. Our adapter clamped onto pcb allowing us to read the data.

Cluster re-assembled and fitted back to the car. We then prepare and program our new genuine key along with the original.

2018 Landrover Discovery for spare proximity key.

The keyless modules on these 2018 onwards JLR vehicles are one time programming. Meaning to do spare keys the dealers have to replace module and keys making the job in excess of £1000.

Rather than coding a keys unique id into the vehicle, we read the key id’s already stored in the vehicle and assign this data to our key. In essence cloning a missing key. This makes for a much cheaper solution.

Unfortunately though this method does not allow for “peps” functions. (Auto unlocking and locking whilst key in pocket).

However it does allow for an extremely cost effective alternative to dealer prices.

2011 Toyota Hilux all keys lost.

Door lock picked and decoded. 2 new keys cut and coded to vehicle.

Unlike many Toyota vehicles in an all keys lost situation we’re normally we would need to remove Immo module. This one was all done through obd.

One extremely happy customer. After ringing around he started to think this job couldn’t be done. 👍👊👌

2022 Renault Trafic for spare genuine remote key for GL Commercials.

First we have to remove glovebox to gain access to the UCH. We do this due to vehicle having a secure gateway module blocking all scanners from communicating.

With a direct connection to the UCH we can bypass the SGW.

Next as with all Renaults we connect our battery support pack.

Our key programmer then goes through its process of updating the firmware to obtain secret key then writing back original firmware.

We can then generate a “dealer key” and code both original and new keys to the van.

All done within a few hours of the call. Far quicker, cheaper and a lot less hassle than the dealers. 👍👌👊

2019 Nissan Navara all proximity keys lost.

Door lock picked and decoded. 2 x genuine proximity keys supplied cut and coded.

Prior to contacting us customer ordered new keys from main dealer, but after waiting a week still nothing.

We got him back on the road in less than 24hrs after initial call. 👊👌👍

Door lock picked and decoded, battery maintainer connected as per all Renault vehicles requiring programming. Pincode read from vehicle, new proximity key card supplied cut and coded.

New manual key and remote key cut.

Immo data read via obd, both keys generated into dealer keys then coded to vehicle.

All done in 20 mins, far quicker and much cheaper than dealer. 👌👊👍
