Sunday ☕📚🌿 Good morning! A busy but lovely Sunday today — a fridge and freezer clean, the food shop to put away, a kitchen reset… and then sorting through my childhood things.

Some things are easy to let go of, but some carry too many memories to part with. 💛

My Enid Blyton books are definitely staying 📚✨

Friday morning ☕🌿 Yesterday was a bit of a rollercoaster...

It started so well — a fresh morning, lots done, feeling productive and ready to tackle the day.

Then, right at the end of my uncle’s visit, something unexpected happened… my Dad’s old LP player had an electrical fire. 💔

It really knocked me, not just because of the damage, but because some things carry memories and stories with them.

But sometimes you have to find the little things that lift you back up… and last night, that was line dancing. 💃

A reminder that even on the wobbly days, there are still moments of joy, good people and things that bring us back around.

Today is a new day 🌿

Thursday morning ☕🌿

Good morning!

Yesterday Mum and I tackled one cupboard… and it turns out it was hiding a lot more than we expected 😂

A mix of memories, family treasures, old photos and things that just needed a proper home.

Today is about slowly working through it, creating some order and finding the right place for everything — one box at a time.

The middle bit never looks pretty, but progress doesn’t always happen neatly… not in this house anyway! 😂

🌿 A little kitchen adventure yesterday… 🍏🫐

While I was out with Mum, we spotted a little basket of cooking apples with a “free” sign by the side of the road — so three came home with us. 🍎

A few berries from the fridge, and a little honey and lemon later… I'd made a lovely apple & berry compote ❤️

A lovely little reminder that sometimes the simplest things create the sweetest moments. 🌿

Tuesday morning ☕🌿🍅 Good morning! Yesterday turned into one of the busiest and most productive days I’ve had in a long time!

Today is another busy one — I’ve already been out for my morning walk, I’m mid kitchen clear out, and I’ve got a few errands to get through.

Adams been the one keeping an eye on the garden this year - his own little project really - he has just shown me this little beauty growing on our tomato plants 🍅🥰

Here’s to another day of little jobs, little wins and moving forward one step at a time 💛

Monday morning ☕🧸📦 Good morning!

I started the day with my morning walk… although my back had other ideas again 🤦‍♀️😂 But we got there, took it steady, and it’s been a good start to the day.

Today is a bit of everything:
📦 Sorting and listing some eBay bits
🛒 A few errands
🍝 Homemade lasagne for tea

Nothing too dramatic, just one of those normal life days — little jobs, little wins, and moving things forward one step at a time 💛

Happy Sunday 🌿☕ After a busy week of new experiences, reminiscing and making new memories, today is about slowing down and resetting.

A little texting catch up with a good friend, beautiful breakfast and now watching Aitch hike Mount Kilamanjaro with Adam.

Sometimes the best moments are the simple ones 💛

Well… today didn’t quite go to plan 🙄🤦‍♀️

I started the morning with my walk, feeling ready to get stuck into the day, and then my back decided it had other ideas!

So today’s plans have changed. Instead of rushing around, I’m taking the hint, putting my feet up and having a slower day. ☕️

I’m using the time to do some meal planning and get myself back on track with Slimming World. Small, steady changes, getting organised and making choices that help me feel better 💪

Not every day goes the way we expect… and that’s okay. Sometimes slowing down is exactly what we need. Back to basics, one step at a time. 🍲

Good morning ☕🌿 Started the day with a 1.47 mile walk and I’m feeling good, giddy and ready for the week ahead 😊

Today’s plan:

🏡 House refresh
🧽 A bit of cleaning
📦 Some more eBay sorting

It’s going to be a busy day, but I’m feeling motivated and ready to get stuck in!

Coffee first… then we go 💪😁

Sunday morning - I had the biggest lie in - I didn’t wake up until 9.15am, and that was only because Adam woke me up 😳😃

I’m normally up and about by 5.30/6am, so I think my body was clearly telling me I needed the extra rest - As my mum and nan always say… “you must have needed it” 💛

Now I’m enjoying a quiet brew before setting up for game day 🎲

A nice Sunday, with good company, a few games and some nice food - perfect, before a very busy week ahead 😀
