So here it is the final post as Commando climbers before I turn this into my subcontracting Instagram.

As of today commando climbers is officially closed.

I've been thinking what to do as a last post for some time now as a final farewell? a big speech? a talk about the future? But the more I think about the last 5 years the more I think about the wonderful people who have been involved in my life for it, I am so proud to say I have been blessed to share time with all of you and Thankyou for being such good friends the last 5 years 😁🤘

I wish everyone of you the happiest futures and you have my eternal gratitude, your all f@£*&ING AWESOME!

A big thankyou to all who have helped to raise the first £100.

Armed with my BBQ tongues 😂 #1 litter picking done, some lessons to be learnt 😁

Did not expect as much litter on route so will need to to take multiple bin bags, we did about 4 miles.
Will need to get some gloves and a litter picker 😯
I thought I hit save on my Garmin but it seems I didn't.

We have pre emptively started germinating lots of seeds in preparation for the tree growing 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲

Hello my wonderful customers and followers I am currently training to partake in a big charity event/challenge to raise money for wounded soldiers, for more information on the event please go take a look at Hockeyforheroes on Facebook or on Instagram.

Commando climbers are proud sponsors towards the team on this event and we will be closing my business for this event.
I hope to do good media coverage during the challenge this May.

Also over the coming months to help with my fundraising I am committing to using this opportunity to help heroes and the Environment 💚

So the day has finally arrived this week to say farewell to our .tree.surgery.

Joe joined us here nearly 2 years ago and has grafted hard with us since.
We have had laughs, good days hard days and more laughs.

He has been one of the integral cogs in maintaining our professional standards as a company over the last few years.

After one of the first jobs Joe did with us, I soon realised he has the desire and potential to be an outstanding climber.

It is hard for me to say goodbye as he has become such an amazing staff member and a fantastic friend.
I've watched you go from "I'm not very confident on spikes"
To removing large trees in full control of the team as a confident lead climber.
In return from Joe we both shared a passion for chainsaw maintenance and rebuilds.
I want to say thank you for sharing your knowledge in maintenance, improving both of our skill sets.
But most of all I want to say a massive thank you for all of your hard work and being such a great mate to work with 😁

From all of us here, have the most awesome time travelling Canada and we are all excited to see your adventures, and hear your stories on your return.

Remember me?!
After a few weeks of recovering in our house it became clear that Hatchet, despite his name, wasn't interested in tree surgery or living at the yard and wanted a gentle loving family home. Parkin (our chief cat) firmly refused to share so Miri & Josh stepped in to give him the most perfect life! Look at this happy glossy boy who's landed on his paws, thankyou 🖤🤍

Ive not posted much but I've always got the time to say a massive thankyou to .coxon for his hard work over the last year.

Jonny joined us at the start of this year with an interest in trees and dived straight into the job with hard grafting spirit and the willing to learn.
I cannot express enough what a great worker you are and what a nice guy you are too. 😁
He now leaves us with his climbing tickets northbound to sunny ☀️ Scotland, I thoroughly look forward to watching you grow brother!

It has been a pleasure to have had you in the team and your always welcome 🤗

ATTENTION! Lost female kitten found at our business premises. no collar, no chip, had a vet check she is healthy and happy other than malnourished.
Found at bridge farm Cossall, newtons lane.
was found in long grass and bramble at farm.
Responds well to humans so assumption is she had a previous home.
Please get in touch if you know her previous home so we can return her safely, otherwise she will continue to be looked after and will be adopted into the Commando family.
