Not the sort of post I ever expected to be writing.

Abbey Tree Company was recently broken into and a substantial amount of equipment was stolen, including our 2015 Först ST6 wood chipper.

For a small tree company, this isn’t just a machine. It’s a key part of how we earn our living and keep jobs moving day to day.

We also lost chainsaws, hedge cutters, blowers, climbing kit and years’ worth of tools we’d built up over time.

We’re insured and we’ll rebuild, but replacing everything takes time and doesn’t cover the disruption caused.

So I’m asking anyone in the arb, landscaping, agricultural or machinery industry to keep an eye out for our chipper.

If you see one advertised, are offered one suspiciously, or hear anything through the trade, please get in touch.

The arb world is a small one and hopefully somebody spots it.

🌳 Eucalyptus Tree Removal in Ilkeston Today

Today our team is carrying out the sectional dismantling and removal of this mature eucalyptus tree in Ilkeston.

Following a recent inspection, significant decay was identified within the root buttress and basal stem, compromising the tree’s structural integrity and reducing the stability of the root plate. This type of deterioration can greatly increase the risk of failure, particularly during strong winds.
